To simply get married there would have been enough, but the Jacksons became the first couple to wed at the iconic Ritz Paris since its re-opening in June 2016.Planning the ultimate Parisian wedding is no small feat, and Olivia enlisted the help of renowned planner Sofia Crokos to execute the perfect wedding weekend in the City of Light.Couples like Olivia and Ryan are few and far between, focusing on each and every detail in hopes of making every moment of their celebrations that much more special for their guests."They had this regal air and sophistication about them–without being pretentious, and they really wanted to do this in style," Crokos remembers fondly."After waking up to hundreds of roses and having white truffle pasta for breakfast on our balcony, Ryan lead me down a stone path to the beach where he had two paddle boards waiting for us," the bride recalled."We jumped on the boards and paddled out into the Mediterranean. They fell in love with the city as they were falling in love with one another and returned there for holidays throughout their relationship.
After a night of dancing, Ryan didn't waste any time, and invited Olivia to dinner the following night at his favorite sushi restaurant. The couple first saw the property when it was in the midst of a renovation; the hotel closed its doors for a multi-million dollar, four-year overhaul under new ownership, and was forced to delay its re-opening following a fire last January."We first saw the garden while the hotel was under construction, but even then, we knew it was the place we wanted to be married" the bride recalled."We wanted to welcome all our friends and family to Paris by dining outside at a classic Parisian bistro that offers views of the iconic Louvre and Eiffel Tower," Olivia explained. After a styled photoshoot with their photographers, Belathée, the couple hosted their guests by the Louvre for a laid-back, quintessentially Parisian evening. For their first night of celebrating, the bride wore Dior (naturally) and Gianvito Rossi lace-up sandals in bridal ivory.
